Our Past Work

The mission for the organization was conceived by our current Chief Executive Officer a veteran educator who witnessed first hand the traumas of poverty, under-education, homelessness, hopelessness, human trafficking on the local community. The dream of creating stable shelter, food, and employment prospects through skills training, began with a small board of five members to ensure the legal establishment and functionality of the enterprise.

Services

Food: Hot meals were bought on an emergency basis or as needed and provided for both individuals and families in need, especially the homeless. For families with a residence, grocery deliveries were made. During the CCOVID-19 Pandemic a number of food programs were open. We then collected food, repack, and distributed to families who were either sick, lacking transportation, or needed help to collect food for themselves. Some clients were also provided with financial counseling, home buying education, reconnective healing sessions, regular transportation, advocacy for services from established government and local organizations.

Our Impact So Far 2018 - 2022

The most significant impact of our operation has been on individuals and families who needed administrative help, counseling, transportation, and a liaison to access services. During the lockdowns we also pick-up, bagged, and delivered groceries to families of all sizes in several neighborhoods.

The impact of our spiritual counseling and teaching have evidenced a number of individuals seeking a deeper means of self actualization. The Reconnective Healing Sessions that some individuals received had a wide variety of positive outcomes from pain relief to release from chronic negative habits.
